Most of the top 20 carriers continued to expand their fleets between April 1 and July 17, 2012, according to Lloyd's List Intelligence. The most aggressive was Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM), whose total owned and chartered vessel capacity grew by 11.7%, taking it from 17th to 15th position in the top 20 league.
