Bearish sentiment and low demand impact Asian prices

All CRU assessed Asian steel prices outside China fell by up to $190 /t m/m, marking the first decline in four months. A bearish sentiment in China due to the Covid-19 outbreaks, pessimistic European market as well as low demand in the region drove the fall. While regional import prices decreased by an average of 7 m/m, Japanese export prices fell by an average of 9 m/m.
