According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), the national average retail price for regular gasoline was $2.288/gal on June 26, a 3.0c/gal decrease from the June 19 price. PADD 3 (the Gulf Coast)'s $2.053/gal was the lowest price for gasoline, while San Francisco, California's $3.065/gal was the highest price. RFG's national average settled at $2.473/gal—a decrease of 4.1c/gal on the week. Houston, Texas' $1.990/gal was the lowest price for RFG, while the highest was San Francisco, California's $3.065/gal. Meanwhile, the national average diesel price dropped 2.4c/gal on the week to $2.465/gal; California had the highest-priced diesel, at $2.863/gal, while PADD 3 had the lowest-priced diesel, at $2.305/gal.
