The company states that it manufactured about 970,000 units of its six-speed automatic transmissions, while overall automatic transmission production exceeded one million units. The Friedrichshafen, Germany-based supplier states that its Driveline Technology division manufactured 1.8 million dual mass flywheels and other components. The Car Chassis Technology division manufactured 1.6 million passenger vehicle and light truck axle systems worldwide in its 2006 financial year.
