No progress' on UK obesity epidemic

The UK is 'struggling' to get to grips with the obesity crisis that is engulfing the nation. Leading medics from the Academy of Medical Royal College (AoMRC) claim there has been no progress on improving nutritional standards in schools or restricting junk food advertising; but areas such as food labelling and parental support are 'encouraging'.The UK's Annual Weigh-In shows almost a third of 10-11 year olds and more than a fifth of 4-5 year olds were classed as overweight or obese.
