This qualitative study explores the intersection betweenorganizational masculinity and emotionality within a pre- hospitalemergency services organization. The existence of multiplemasculinities within a male-dominated and emotion-laden organizationindicates that men who work within this context are required tonegotiate multiple forms of masculinities within heavilyemotionalised organizational regions or spaces. This study found thatthere were competing tensions between at least two forms ofmasculinity within the organisation in question.
