Gastric pneumatosis in a cat - a radiological case report

Gastric pneumatosis is a very rare diagnostic finding in small animal practice, though it is often found as a result of a gastric torsion in dogs. The diagnosis can be made using radiography, ultrasonography or computed tomography. The following case report describes a generalised gastric pneumatosis in a cat suffering from high-grade pancreatitis. In general, regardless of its primary cause, the prognosis for patients with gastric pneumatosis is guarded.
