At this unique time for our world, and for the wine industry, it may be timely to look at the risk posed by grapevine viruses in our vineyards in Australia. Is it something we can quantify, and how do we manage it? Identification and management of that risk depends on adequate knowledge of key biological factors, which will lead to more sustainable vineyards.
