Aquaponics in Education: A New Approach

Hydroponics and aquaponics have improved greatly since they were developed in the early 1930's, but only recently has attention been placed on the use of this technology in education. Hydroponic and some aquaponic educational tools, including models,classroom books, and educational software are being developed (as mentioned in a recent issue of Hatchery International), but none has been used to its fullest potential in the classroom.
