Nigerian hatchery to rear African catfish fingerlings for local market

With assistance and some training from a US university professor a new catfish hatchery is being established in Ibadan, Nigeria. The facility is aimed at providing fish farmers in the area with a supply of the African sharptooth catfish (Clarias gariepinus), according to a report from the region, which says that local fish farmers will be able to buy lg fingerlings from the hatchery.
