Global CFI has sagged by $0.26/t after the trend shifted in North Europe and trade expectedly started slowing down due in part tosharpening COVID-19 pandemic in the EU countries. The Gulf of Finland CFI has dropped by $1.19/t and the Lower Baltic CFI by $0.92/t.The situation on the South European market remains very unfavorable for both owners and charterers. Negotiations are hampered by furtherdeclines in already weak commodity flow, tightened quarantine measures and vessel downtimes at ports. Nevertheless, sea-river owners havemanaged to raise the Azov Sea freight rates by $0.92/t. The shipping costs of sea-going fleet keep sliding down. The BlSea CFI has saggedby another $0.1/t. The Med CFI has inched down by $0.05/t.
