AIST, Toyota, Toyota CRDL to Partner on Environmental and Energy Research for Carbon Neutrality

The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Toyota Motor Corp. (TYO:7203) and Toyota Central R&D Labs Inc. have begun planning joint research to accelerate the development and commercialization of advanced technologies for energy and the environment. By pursuing technologies for the energy sector in this fashion, the three parties look to play a role in reducing CO2 emissions, helping in turn to achieve carbon neutrality targets.
