UPL/Chr Hansen agree deal to develop microbial biosolutions

UPL and Danish bioscience company Chr Hansen (Horsholm) have agreed a long-term strategic collaboration to develop microbial biosolutions, including biostimulants and biopesticides. The deal involves UPL leveraging its global footprint to undertake research and identify opportunities and product concepts, while Chr Hansen is to develop microbial formulations based on these insights. Registration and commercialisation of the products are to be undertaken by UPL through its global distribution network.
