Adama expects Q3 sales to have risen 17%

Syngenta Group agrochemical business Adama expects a 17% rise in sales for the third quarter ended September 30th. A combination of factors will have driven growth. They will have included continued “robust” volume growth alongside moderate price increases, with “strong” demand supported by continued high crop prices, as well as “favourable” exchange rates and the contribution of newly acquired businesses including Chinese company Huifeng’s synthesis and formulation facilities.
