The opening of the Montes del Plata eucalyptus pulp mill in Punta Pereira in Uruguay has been postponed for the second time. Construction work on the production facility, which operates as a joint venture between Arauco and Stora Enso, has now been completed, but the Uruguayan environmental authority DINAMA has yet to issue a permit, a company spokesperson told EUWID.
