Pro-Gest increases deliveries and profits in 2013

Italian packaging and tissue group Pro-Gest raised its profits again in 2013. After the results in 2012 had fallen behind those of the previous year, the company got back on track for success last year and achieved similar results to 2011. With a pretax result of ?11 m - Pro-Gest did not wish to disclose its net result - the company doubled its profit against the ?5.5m recorded for the previous year. The operating result was 40% higher than in 2012 at?22m. The packaging manufacturer believes that a decisive factor contributing to this jump was a better margin combined with rising delivery figures. This caused sales to climb to ?315m in 2013, equating to growth of 12% against the year before.
