You take one in on trade, and most likely, it never even hits the used lot. You already know five buyers for it. Why are those trade-ins the easy sell? Because those 15- to 20-year-old tractors in super condition are so hard to find. On the flip side, it's a wee bit harder to move used 24-row planters off your lots, isn't it? Why? The opposite principle is at play. It's tough to sell them when they're everywhere.
