In line with changes in trading practices occurring in the international OTC coal market, Platts is altering its 90-day forward pricing for key benchmark coals to reflect increased purchasing for delivery in fixed months and the prompt calendar quarter. We are also adding a new benchmark specification, delivered coal to west coast Korea, and clarifying our benchmark Japan CIF by reporting it as net as received (NAR) instead of gross as received (GAR).
