Genetic mapping of short arm of chromosome 1B in common wheat cultivar Salmon.

The short arm of chromosome 1B, which carries a rye translocation, and GluB1, located on the long arm, were mapped in cv. Salmon. Probable gene order on the long arm of 1B is GpriR1 followed by NorR1, GliR1, GluB3s and GluB1. Recombination values between GpiR1 and NorR1, GpiR1 and GliR1, NorR1 and GliR1, NorR1 and GluB3s, GliR1 and GluB3s, GliR1 and GluB1, and GluB3s and GluB1 were 16.01 ?4.02, 23.19 ?5.01, 15.92 ?5.57, 24.43 ?6.85, 20.57 ?4.83, 29.91 ?5.99 and 36.34 ?6.55%, respectively.
