Urea market runs out of steam

Over April and into May,the driving force in the urea market has been the state subsidised purchasing of Iran,Pakistan,India and Bangladesh.Over a six-week period,these countries accounted for over one million tonnes,most of it originating in the FSU.Pakistan booked the most tonnage at 400,000 tonnes,followed by Iran (340,000 tonnes),India (280,000 tonnes) and Bangladesh (100,000 tonnes).
