Researchers at Washington University Have Reported New Data on Cardiovascular Diseases and Conditions (Transgender Identity and Cardiovascular Disease)

We used logistic regression to examine whether transgender identity was associated with CVD after accounting for factors commonly associated with CVD. Data were obtained from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey for the years 2015 through 2019. Of the participants, 93.1% reported no CVD and 6.9% reported CVD.
