Baze pushes for crew infotainment

Norwegian solutions provider Baze Technology has noted an upsurge of orders for its BazePort infotainment platform, which provides an interactive, all-in-one entertainment, e-learning and communications portal for seafarers. Comprising a touch-screen TV, handphone, keyboard and mini-PC, BazePort can be connected to its servervia a single IP cable. When mounted in each cabin, crew can use the system to access live TV, radio, internet, crewing information, safety manuals, food menus, video on demand and training packages - in seven language options.
