Ten win place on ￡50m framework

A mixture of local and national firms are among the 10 contractors to land places on a highways framework that could see up to ￡50 million-worth of spending on roads in southern England. The E7 Regional Highways Framework runs to 2016 and firms winning places include three local outfits, Dyer Et Butler, Raymond Brown and Mildren. Chichester-based Geoffrey Osborne also won a place but, while other smaller regional contractors including Jackson submitted bids, the other six slots went to national outfits.
