Peacock Container secures $240m sustainability-linked loan

PEACOCK Container has obtained a $240m sustainability-linked loan, marking the first financing arrangement of such type in the ISO tank container leasing industry.The lessor converted an original $200m term-loan and revolving credit facility facility to a sustainability-linked deal, chief financial officer Charles-Hadrien Lassalle told Lloyd's List. The Singapore-based company obtained the three-year loan in June 2021, according to Mr Lassalle. The facility was increased to $240m in November 2021.
