Lean event to be hosted by A-One+

Ways of doing more with less will be discussed at a Highways Agency lean event that is being hosted by A-One+. The event, which is taking place at Pontefract Racecourse on 11 March, is aimed specifically towards Highways Agency managing agent contractors, asset support contract service providers and those interested in lean construction. Peter Knowles, lean deployment manager at A-one+, said: "The goal is to support the strategic aims of the government, whose current objective is to forge a leaner and more efficient state.
