Russian Manportable SAMs

Russia is currently exporting a variety of manportable SAM systems. These include the 9K 310-1 Igla-J (SA-16 Gimlet; shown at right) and the 9K38 lgla (SA-18 Grouse) and 9K338 Igla-S (SA-24 Grinch). The later type is roughly comparable to the US Army's Stinger manportable air-defense missile systems (MANPADS).
