Feng River Park in Xixian New City, China is a significant achievement in open space and environmental planning, design and delivery. This is a park to be experienced; a strolling garden on a grand scale filled with lush formal plantings, poetic gestures and lyrical moments that weave together environmental, historic, cultural and economic meaning. Underlying the intensely Instagrammable scenes are ecological systems to clean the air, filter the water and allow the riparian zone to heal, with diverse birdlife returning to the Feng River.
