Mills' prices unlikely to change in June-August

In May, TMK and ChelPipe left prices for 57-159 mm seamless pipes made to GOST 8732(31) unrevised.Amid a decrease in raw material prices, Russian mills' production costs of seamless pipes made from own billets will move down by an average of 4% (RUB 1,500-3,100/t without VAT, depending on mill) in June. However, Metal Expert doubts that prices for pipes will be revised accordingly as large mills have filled order books for several months ahead.
