Demand from Russian oil and gas companies (the major end-users of standard seamless pipes) will be steadily high throughout the forecast period given the seasonality of hydrocarbon production and the traditional off-seasonal procurement of seamless pipes to be delivered by winter roads. Over July, seamless pipe production dropped by 3% to 282,700 t.
