China's Si exports fall in August

China's silicon metal exports dropped in August with weaker buying interest from international consumers because of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The country exported 46,434t of silicon metal (Si 99.99pc maximum) in August, down by 23.8pc from 60,955t a year earlier, customs data show.
