ArcelorMittal Aviles is starting the second phase of its steel meltshop A revamp in 20 days. The up- grade will allow the plant to expand the plate product range to serve demanding consuming sectors. The second phase of the upgrade of Aviles’s steelmaking operations will start in October 1 and last for around a month. “New converter, new boiler and suction system and a new continuous casting machine will be the main investments at the facility,” a company spokesperson told Meal Expert.
