Sichuan allocates 2020 RE production quotas

China’s Sichuan province has allocated 43,000t of rare earth production quotas for this year, up by around 13.2pc from 38,000t in 2019. It allocated 28,350t of light rare earth mining products to Southern Rare Earth’s subsidiary Sichuan JCC RE, up from 27,750t last year and accounting for 66pc of the total quota. Sichuan Dechang Metal Testing and Selecting received 9,150t, Sichuan Wankaifeng 4,000t, Xichang Zhineng 600t, Sichuan Mianli RE 500t and Mianning Yousheng 400t.
