Observations were recorded on the mass rearing of rice moth, Corcyra cephalonica Stainton using maize grains. Moths of C. cephalonica started emerging 40 days after infestation and emergence continued upto 101 days. Peak moth emergence occurred 62 days after infestation. Average yield of moths was 1420 moths/3 kg grains/tub. The mean eggs yield from 1420 moths was 7.2 cc. By using maize as a rearing medium, yield of moths can be considerably increased and the waiting period for productive tubs can be considerably reduced.
