Japan’s rolled Cu output drops further in June

Japanese production of rolled copper and alloy products declined further in June, pressured by a continued slump in manufacturing demand because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Output of rolled copper and alloy products dropped by 29pc from a year earlier to a preliminary 45,952t in June, according to industry group the Japan copper and brass association. The June output was also lower by 5pc from May.
