Nanjing Iron and Steel Group to modernize BF

China's Nanjing Iron and Steel Group has unveiled its plans to upgrade the upstream facility at the plant in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, Metal Expert learnt from the statement by Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangsu Province. The steelmaker will modernize a 2,550 cu m BF No.2 with a capacity of 2.14 million tpy. The project is planned to be carried out within this March-June. Thanks to the upgrade, the producer will reduce harmful emissions and meet the strict environmental standards.
