Fertigation is the application of water-soluble fertilizer through drip irrigation network. Drip irrigation system has been universally adjudged to be capable of resulting in a high water use efficiency and better crop performance, as compared to the conventional methods of irrigation. It also enables the application of soluble fertilizer and other chemicals uniformly and more efficiently (Haynes, 1988). Fertigation is an efficient method of fertilizer application and savings in the consumption offertilizer up to 50 per cent are reported by many workers. Liquid fertilizer are most appropriate for use in fertigation. But in India the availability of liquid fertilizer is less and these are expensive too in comparison to solid chemical fertilizer. Therefore, commercially available solid fertilizer, including urea di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) and Muriate of potash (MOP) were used. The present study was undertaken to find out the effect of different levels of fertigation on the yield of okra (var. Arka Anamika).
