In this previously unpublished interview, George B. Hatley shines a light on breed history as only he could do.When he passed away September 16,2011, of causes related to age (he was 87), George B. Hatley took with him a degree of Appaloosa knowledge and Appaloosa Horse Club history that will never be replaced. Not only did he guide the ApHC for over three decades, as its executive secretary (chief operating officer, in today's terms), but he also was one of its earliest members, joining while still in high school and holding membership #45.
