摘要

Manufacturing, assembling, testing - these part processes of production today have to be viewed under holistic aspects and given scheduling considerations. The example of standard assembly cells can be used for showing how different manufacturers observe these conditions in their manufacturing technologies. The cells conceived by them can be freely combined due to the use of standard basic modules, interfaces and control concepts, and thus contribute to cost reduction.
