China Promotes Energy Conservation at State-funded Institutions

The People's Bank of China held a conference on energy conservation and emission reduction in October 2008. This was the first conference held by a Ministry of the State Council of China after release of the Energy Conservation Regulation for State-funded Institutions (hereafter 'the Regulation'). Fan Xuechen, Director of the Public Institution Energy Conservation Office of the State Council of China, attended the conference.
