DR AMY JADESIMI, CEO of Ladol, started her career path away from the oil and gas industry: "I had the opportunity to go and study medicine at Oxford - it is a six-year course and there were a lot of opportunities to explore different aspects of the medical field." She was going to intern for a female surgeon after graduating but she was offered a job with Goldman Sachs. The surgeon told her to take the position with the investment bank and kept the medical opportunity open for her, but Dr Jadesimi stayed with Goldman Sachs for three years and then went on to attain an MBA.
