Microwave-Assisted Rapid Regioselective One-Pot Synthesis of Novel 2-Oxothiazolidine Dicarboxylate

摘要

A regioselective synthesis of 2-oxothiazolidine dicarboxylate (OTDC) under microwave irradiations is reported. Methoxyla- tion, demethylation and double reductive cyclization occurs in single step by three component one pot reaction under microwave irradiations. The microwave irradiations, planar arrangement of intermediate imino(sp2)-thio-maleate and in situ demethylation considered as driving forces for regiose- lective cyclization.
