China’s tungsten exports fell in the first two months of theyear amid weaker demand caused by an economic slowdownand the impact from the Covid-19 outbreak. China’s tung-sten exports are expected to fall further amid the escalatingcoronavirus outbreak outside of the country.The Chinese government will raise export tax rebates for sev-eral metal products, effective from 20 March. Beijing will liftexport tax rebates for tungsten to 13pc from 10pc. The moveis expected to boost exports of higher value-added metalproducts this year, market participants said.
