China: Pr/Nd, Gd prices rise; tb, eu fall

Limited spot availability and a rise in spot enquiries from the downstream magnet sector lifted praseodymium-neodymium and gadolinium prices further, while limited buying interest weighed on the terbium and europium markets. Low availability prompted suppliers to raise their praseodymium-neodymium prices further, although metal processing plants and magnet manufacturers were reluctant to restock the material at higher prices because of an uncertain market outlook.
