Metal futures: Metals fall amid coronavirus warnings

Base metal prices on the LME fell today on fresh warnings by technology and mining companies that the coronavirus will disrupt the global economy. Technology company Apple warned that its sales and revenue may fall because of temporary supply constraints due to disruption in China caused by the coronavirus. This came two weeks after the company posted record profits in its previous quarter.
