Al:Chinese carmakers plan global export growth

The Chinese automotive industry plans to expand its global presence and will target European and US markets over the next five years, the commerce ministry said. The growing automotive industry in China is expected to support demand for aluminium, secondary alloy and raw materials for electric vehicle (EV) batteries — nickel, lithium, cobalt, manganese — in the country.
