China's GTA lowers October W reference prices

China's Ganzhou tungsten association (GTA) has cut its Octo- ber reference prices for concentrate, ammonium paratung-state (APT) and tungsten carbide in response to flat demand from the downstream cemented carbide industry and lower spot offer prices. GTA's October reference price for 55pc concentrate fell to 83,000 yuan/t ($225/mtu) from Yn86,500/t in September. The guide price for 88.5pc APT fell to Yn127,500/t for Octo- ber from Yn131,000/t in September.
