CNGR to build Ni matte plant in Indonesia

Chinese new energy materials manufacturer CNGR will partner with Singapore-based Rigqueza International to build a joint-venture plant to produce nickel matte in Morowali in Indonesia's Sulawesi. The $243mn plant has a design capacity of 30,000 t/yr of nickel metal equivalent for nickel matte, including the first 10,000 t/yr phase. Other details including the construction schedules and plans for the remaining phases were undisclosed.
