Tsingshan lifts high-carbon FeCr tender price

Chinese stainless steel mill Tsingshan Group has raised its March tender purchase price for high-carbon ferro-chrome in line with tight spot supplies caused by production cuts in the production hub of Inner Mongolia. The firm lifted its purchase price for high-carbon alloy to 8,896 yuan/t ($1,376/t) on a 50pc basis, delivered plus the 13pc value-added tax and paid in cash, up by Yn700/t from Yn8,196/t in February. Its purchase price at Tianjin port rose to Yn8,746/t, also up by Yn700/t from the previous month. Shipments are due before 15 April.
