Eurozone manufacturing growth at 8-month low

Eurozone manufacturing growth fell to an eight-month low in October, when supply chain disruptions worsened and there was further evidence of price inflation. The IHS Markit Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) reading was 58.3 last month, down from 58.6 in September and a fourth consecutive monthly contraction. A reading above 50 indicates expansion, and all eight countries in the survey achieved that last month.
