Bulk alloy prices rose in the past week as production cutbacks in China tighten global supply and fuel concerns aboutnear-term availability.The assessment range for 65pc grade alloy with high carboncontent widened to $1.65-1.75/lb from $1.66-1.70/lb on 23September. Sellers lifted their offers on the expectation thatproduction cuts in China will further tighten supply in theglobal market.
